Dr. Mathew T. Kattadiyil received his BDS degree from the College of Dental Surgery, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, India in 1989. He completed his Masters in Dental Science (MDS) in Prosthodontics from the College of Dental Surgery, KMC, Manipal in 1992. He began full-time teaching in the Department of Prosthodontics at the College of Dental Surgery, KMC, Manipal, India in1992.

In 1997, he received the professional certificate in Prosthodontics from the School of Dentistry and in 1999 earned his Master of Science (MS) degree from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California. In 2012, Dr. Kattadiyil was awarded the ‘Educator of the Year’ by the American College of Prosthodontists. He has lectured nationally and internationally. In addition to authoring multiple publications and text book chapters, he is also the co-author of the of the electronic program ‘Optimizing success with complete dentures’ prepared by Loma Linda University, 2013

Dr. Kattadiyil is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is currently the Professor and Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University.

He has been a full-time faculty member at Loma Linda University since 1999 and limits his practice to Prosthodontics.
